I am delighted to introduce myself as the interim headteacher of Maple Medical Pru while Lois Cherrington is on maternity leave. It is an honour to have this opportunity to work with such dedicated staff and community and I am eager to embark on this exciting journey with you and your children

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the warm welcome I have already received from staff and students alike. I am deeply committed to continuing the tradition of excellence that Maple Medical Pru is know for and to foster a nurturing environment where every student can thrive both academically and personally

I have had the privilege of being a headteacher in schools within the Wakefield district. My approach to education is holistic, focusing not only on academic achievements but also on the development of character, creativity and critical thinking skills. I believe that every child has unique strengths and potential, and it is our collective responsibility to provide them with the support and opportunities they need to succeed
